Upper Parkstone and Penn Hill sit just south-west of the clinic. To get here by car use the Bournemouth Road route , past Alexandra Park or Penn Hill Avenue route where it joins the top of Canford Cliffs Road and it’s a straightforward run in past the shops, bars and restaurants on that road. Coming from the direction of Parkstone, you’ll go past the Waitrose on Ashley Road before joining the familiar Poole Road. If you are heading my way from Parkstone Golf Club then travel up Canford Cliffs Road direction. By train, Parkstone station delivers you one stop to Branksome station, then a short walk across Bournemouth Gardens and Coy Pond. Taxis just need our postcode BH4 9LE. It is a manageable walk from Penn Hill just allow a little time. There’s free parking on site and on my own driveway, whichever direction you’re coming from.

Upper Parkstone and Penn Hill have a particular style and personality to them, school run, then the office, then sport most evenings. It is a busy residentail area served by good transport and plenty of cafes, shops, bars and restaurants dotted throughout, not to forget to mention the new M&S food store on the old Homebase site which has particularly caused a fluffy of excitement locally! A lot of my patients here are commuters catching the train from Parkstone station to Waterloo or driving in past the Waitrose end of Ashley Road, carrying the neck and shoulder tension that comes from a desk-bound day and a longer commute. School-gate parents feature heavily too as Courthill Infant School’s catchment is a tight one and BCS draws families from further afield again so I see plenty of the lifting, carrying and pram-pushing strain that comes with the school run, alongside golfer’s back and elbow from Parkstone Golf Club (more on that below). Baden-Powell School sits right on this side of the boundary as well, so a good number of families walking that route come through the door too. It’s a busy and eclectic place, full of life and this demographic shows up often with the aches and pains I would expect, injuries form busy lives and sport mainly.
I’m Leslie Budzynski, a GCC-registered chiropractor (No. 00043) and BCA member (No. 0072) with 39 years of clinical experience. I qualified from what’s now Health Sciences University (then AECC) in 1987, and ran my own clinic and satellite practices in London for thirteen years before moving to Bournemouth in 2000.
Bournemouth Chiropractic is a single-practitioner clinic so that means I see and treat every patient myself, at every appointment, from your first visit through every review. There are no associates or locums, so there’s no variability in who you see or how you’re treated. The clinic is open Monday to Friday, 7.30am–6pm, and Saturdays 7.30am–3pm, with early slots for people fitting this around work.
My fees here at Bournemouth Chiropractic are £75 for the initial consultation, examination and first treatment; £65 for follow-up visits. I have no hidden additional fees and there is no pressure to commit to a course of treatment and pay anything in advance. You pay as you go along and I keep you fully in the picture about progress and timings and subsequent costs. See full details of costs on my rates page.
I can usually accommodate you within 48 hours, if not sooner. You don’t need a GP referral because chiropractic is a primary healthcare profession, so that speeds things up and you can book easily to suit your schedule online or phone me on 01202 937568.
If it’s urgent and you are in pain, call me and I’ll give you advice straight away and get you seen as soon as possible.
The clinic is open long hours from Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 6pm and Saturdays until 3pm, so there’s usually an early or after-work slot free.
Yes absolutely, golf puts a lot of rotational load through the lower back and repetitive strain through the elbow and I see a fair number of golfers from the club with exactly those painful conditions.
It’s the same mechanical pattern behind most sporting strains treating the underlying cause rather than just the sore spot. Treatment focuses on the mechanical cause, alongside practical advice on managing it around your game.
All three treat musculoskeletal problems with hands-on therapy. As a chiropractor, I place particular emphasis on the spine and nervous system and I’m trained to take and interpret X-rays. Plenty of patients try more than one practitioner before finding what and who suits them best and here’s a longer read about the comparison between us all if you want one.
Me personally, I have 39 years of clinical experience and I graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Boscombe in 1987. I am BCA registered and has been GCC registered since 1999 (Reg. No. 00043). Before establishing here in Bournemouth, I ran my own clinic and satellite practices in London for thirteen years. Years of experience for you to lean on.
That level of experience and continuity of care is rare in Bournemouth and can make a significant difference to patient outcomes.
