Bournemouth Chiropractic Location and Directions
Bournemouth Chiropractic location and directions are here for you in one easy to read blog post. We are local, easy to find and have a huge, level off street parking area, making life easy.
Bournemouth Chiropractic is based at 42 Branksome Hill Road, Bournemouth BH4 9LE, a purpose built clinic set in a calm, residential road just off both Glenferness Avenue and Branksome Wood Road. We are neighbours to Talbot Heath School, a lovely local landmark. We are convenient for all the familiar local areas such as Westbourne, Branksome Park, Poole, Canford Cliffs, Sandbanks, Talbot Woods and the whole of the wider Bournemouth and Dorset area. You can read about all the areas we cover here on this handy link.
Free off-road parking is one of our convenient highlights and is available directly outside the building. Our second strongest convenience attribute is that the clinic interior is completely level and step free throughout.
Where Exactly Is Bournemouth Chiropractic?
Is it easy to find, yes, because we are surrounded by familiar landmarks. The clinic sits on the boundary of Talbot Heath School overlooking the woods at the back and is well connected by road and several bus routes. It is, however, a little haven of peace and quiet, well away from the noise of the busy town centre. Branksome Hill Road is a short distance from my old Poole Road Medical Centre address where the clinic was based for over ten years and it is still equally accessible from both Bournemouth town and Poole.

I have been practising chiropractic in Bournemouth and Dorset for 39 years, qualifying from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) in 1987, which was recently rebranded as the HSU in Boscombe.
I am registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC Reg no: 00043) which is the UK’s statutory regulator for chiropractors since 1999 and am a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) (BCA Reg. No. 0072) since I qualified in 1987. You can verify my registration on the GCC’s online register at any time.
Patients come to the clinic from across all sorts of places. The conditions I treat most commonly include back pain, neck pain, headaches and migraines, shoulder and arm pain, hip and pelvic pain, leg and foot pain, sporting and dance injuries and maintaining mobility as we age. Within this website there are various pages to read on conditions that we treat, there is a full FAQ page for information on almost every aspect of chiropractic care and plenty of blog posts that provide the same.
One common question I get asked is how long will my recovery take? I have written about this in detail, click the link of highlighted text to read in more depth.
Coming from the harbour side
If you are travelling from the Sandbanks peninsula or the harbour, the clinic is a straight run up the Poole Road and then left at the lights onto Branksome Wood Road, usually about fifteen minutes. Coming off the Sandbanks ferry, allow a little longer in summer when the queue backs up along Banks Road. Parking here is free and directly outside, which is worth knowing if your alternative is the clifftop or seafront car parks.
Appointments are usually available within 48 hours, Monday to Saturday (7.30am to 6pm weekdays, 7.30am to 3pm Saturday) with free parking at the clinic on Branksome Hill Road. Book online or call 01202 937568.

Frequently Asked Questions About Bournemouth Chiropractic Location and Directions
Is there parking at Bournemouth Chiropractic?
Yes, free off-road parking is available right outside the clinic at 42 Branksome Hill Road. There is no time limit and no charge. Our street has free parking on the road too. This is one of the practical and appealing advantages of the Branksome Hill Road location compared to a town centre where parking is expensive or shared medical centre setting which can be much busier. We always have space just to turn in and leave the car quickly and easily.
Is the clinic accessible for patients with mobility difficulties?
Yes, the clinic has level access from the car park to the treatment room, with one small navigable uplift by the door. There are no steps anywhere inside the premises. The treatment table is height adjustable and the changing facilities are spacious and accessible. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please mention them when booking and I will make sure everything is arranged appropriately for you.
Is Bournemouth Chiropractic near Poole as well as Bournemouth?
Yes, the clinic sits between Bournemouth and Poole, in fact our postcode tells us we are one house away from the boundary of Poole but bang in the Bournemouth postcode too so the clinic is easily accessible from both. Patients at the clinic tell me they travel from across the BCP area, Ashley Cross, Whitecliff, Branksome Park, Parkstone and Penn Hill and Branksome. The clinic postcode BH4 9LE works accurately in all sat-nav systems and maps apps.
Do I need to bring anything to my first appointment?
It is helpful to bring a list of any current medications and the details of any previous relevant investigations including X-rays, MRI results or specialist letters if you have them. I suggest comfortable, loose-fitting clothing are ideal. Everything else is provided at the clinic. Our first visit guide has all the reassurances and full details you might need.
Can I get to Bournemouth Chiropractic by public transport?
Yes, the clinic is accessible by bus from Bournemouth town centre, Westbourne, and Poole via routes along Branksome Wood Road and Glenferness Avenue. Check Morebus for current timetables and routes.
